    Alternative to a PC Jacket

If anyone has connections to someone in the Navy or Navy Reserves, the Navy has a dinner dress jacket that works very well with a kilt. It is a short jacket similar to the BB jacket. I comes with gold buttons but silver buttons can be purchased for .25 cents each. There are six buttons on the jacket. The cost of the jacket is $160.00 which is less expensive than a PC jacket. It is made of black wool and looks as though it was made for a kilt. I have only seen the jacket on the Uniform web site though. I don't know if this helps or not but just thought I would let all of you know about it.

Lighthouse Uniform has been good to me in the past on uniform shirts for the local SAMS post.

That is one very nice-looking jacket. Well done!

Just one minor point though (Oh, here he goes again!!). Since you are not wearing a waistcoat - possibly they do not come with these jackets - your appearance could just be completed if you were to wear a Dress Belt with a rectangular 'plate' buckle. A belt would not, of course, be worn with a waistcoat.

Is that a nice TFCK kilt I see there, by the way? I suspect it is.
