    Feeling a little down

I really don't expect replies here just need to vent.

I've been struggling with eye problems for months I have only one good eye and it is the one where all the problems lie. To begin I have developed a subcapsular cataract which coupled with my astigmatism has robbed me of my ability to drive at night they produce strong halos around every bright light that impede my ability to see anything else. I also have severe dry eye syndrome that make my eye feel as though I have sand in it. to put the cherry on this little sundae this last Wed. I developed a tear in my cornea which was so bad and painful I had to leave work. Thursday I could not see well enough to read regular print and that meant I couldn't see well enough to work. I of course went to the eye doctor for this and then on to a specialist who have been aggressive in their treatment. The upshot of this is my condition with the cornea is one that will repeat itself without any external trauma (it's self tearing guys).

Sorry to be a bother I just needed to let it out.

Bill sorry to hear of your condition. I knew of a Priest who had that tearing condition and He had to let everyone know not to use flash at a wedding because it could cause more damage to his condition. In facted he would not go to receptions just for that reason unless everyone there would not use flash.
Hope it does not get any worse.

    Thumbs up

I hope you will get better as soon as possible. Maybe it's just mediterranean trad. healing, but we use over here a camomille infusion to help calming eyes irritations. Just make the infusion, let it cool down and apply with a cotton pad. Maybe it can help, maybe not,... try to ask to a doc first, just in case this don't work on ur concrete situation.

    Good luck!

    ¡Salud!

I'll make this short; Google "Occular nutrition" and take it from there. Many folks have experienced near miracles from this. I am not speaking from personal experience but from reports from folks who were all but written of by their doctors.

    Best of luck.

    Chris.

Sorry to hear about your troubles, Bill. One of the things I fear the most is losing my eyesight. So far so good, although I'm blind as a bat without my glasses.

I sympathize, as I have had eye problems all my life. Hope you have a good opthamologist nearby who keeps up with current advances, as the eye doctors are doing amazing things these days. Best of luck to you.
