    Thumbs up Jacobite Rebellion

Tonight at 9:00 PM EST, on PBS is Battlefield Britain: The Jacobite Rebellion. Should be an interesting show!

    Smile

I watched it last night. It was pretty good. They showed it from both sides of the battles. I didn't know much at all about the Jacobite Rebellion, but, am now a lil more informed. Now I know what the Appin Regiment was.

Now I know what the references to "Bonny Prince Charlie" mean. Huzzah for eductional TV!
I'll definatelt be watching "Battlefield Britain" much more!

Battlefield Britain's episode about Culloden was great, I saw it about a year or so ago.

The Appin Society folks do a good job, I've known/know some of them for several years.
