    Problems with Grandparents

Sounds as if they are old stick-in-the-muds.
I can see where they are coming from with spicy foods, trendy modern clothes etc. But here we are talking about something that is very traditional and is worn by all ages.
Do your grandparents have any celtic blood in them, it sounds as if they don't?
I do not believe it s total ignorance you are up against here, its just something thats new to them. Have they been up close to someone wearing a kilt before? I guarantee you that when you wear it and you know you are looking good and impactful, your grandparents will come round and say that it really suits you and you should wear it more often.
Anyway it does not really matter if they don't approve of your kilt, its what you want to wear and do that matters.
    keep on kilting,
    Julian

Wear your kilt with pride, then you will show it off to its best advantage, no one can resist the kilt for long. Good luck with your Grandparents

I echo David's sentiments. If you wear your kilt with pride and confidence your grandparents are more likely to be convinced as to how well the kilt completes the young man.

Not to get too off topic... but welcome from a fellow kilted gamer! I haven't played in years as I just got way too busy with my career, but I used to be a huge gamer. My favorite was RIFTS... I just loved the mix of SciFi and Fantasy... still own 20 or so books for the system... not that I have any use for them...

Anyway, again, welcome from a fellow kilted gamer... This addiction will be like no other, that's a promise!
