    Another Hello from California

    Hello everyone,

I'm Justin McIntosh. I'm second generation Scotch-Irish born in the USA. From the McIntosh/MacKinlay lines. (was MacIntosh before my grandparents moved to the US) I have most of my family tree all the way back to the mid 1700's.

After many years I've finally decided to start wearing my tartan's again. My grandmother told me the other day that she still has one of my tartans from when I was 6 years old, so yesterday I ordered a brand new tartan for my fraternity formal coming up in a few weeks. (had to get my step-fathers Armstrong tartan because it was impossible to get a MacIntosh tartan within a two week time frame). But I consider my step-dad my true father and he was honored that I would be wearing his families tartan.

All I can really say is that I'm very excited to start wearing tartan's and kilts again. Only problem is that I ride my motorcycle 5-7 days a week and I'm trying to figure out how I would go about doing that with a kilt and it will be getting very hot here with the summer coming up.

    Just glad to be here.

I still haven't figured out how to safely wear a kilt on my motorcycle, so the two just don't mix for me.

Welcome from Roswell Georgia. Cycles are one of the few activities that should be done in trousers for safety. Doesn't mean you can't carry the kilt and change out, though.

Hello it is nice to meet you. Now as I usually say .....
from Memphis, Tennessee. Home of the blues & Elvis.

Now I gotta ask ... have you ever met John McIntosh of McIntosh? (Your Chief) I understand he is a high school teacher and still lives in the estate of the clan seat .
