This is the X Marks the Scot.com tartan. This tartan was designed by our own Matt Newsome kiltmaker, historian, and currator of the Scottish Tartans museum. This is I believe the third custom run of this tartan. Steve Ashton, aka The Wizard of BC owner of Freedom Kilts (and Curmudgeon extraordinaire) coordinated this. I don't believe any additional material was ordered, but you might want to send him a PM just in case or to let him know you are interested in the next run. He is the one to speak with about XMTS shirts, patches, and our spiffy kilt pin/hat badge as well. To see more information take a look at the X Marks the Scot Propoganda Forum.

    Cheers

You can look into getting some of the tartan from Fraser & Kirkbright They wove it and there was some damaged stuff out there that is now for sale on the F&K site. I am sure that the other run is gone to those that ordered it, if you take a look here you will see all the info on the 2nd run
