I know, I'm certain that you find this shocking. However, one of these will probably be my first made-to-measure wool [ck]ilt. Rocky, I'm saving my pennies, even as we speak.

My GGgrandmother (mother of my MacGregor/Gregg grandmother) is my Edwards, and I believe that line has been followed across the water to Wales. My Sallenger grandmother was a Williams: this one we think is Welsh, but as far as I know we have not proved it.

Ham, a very beautiful tartan, and although the pleating is liberal, it certainly has a good overall appearance for a nice, casual kilt.

Well, English or Welsh I'm proud of all my various lines, American "mutt" that I am. I do need to add a Welsh tartan at some point, whether the Welsh National, Edwards or Howell. I'll probably have to settle for a figure somewhat lower than 79 though!

From many of us as well. Even though I don't have Hamish's style his pointers are a great help especially for those of us who never paid much attention to what we wore before the kilt.
