    New Denim X-Kilt

Well, over break I've managed to finish my first plaid kilt, and my first X-Kilt.

I really like the look of my X-Kilt. Dark blue denim with bright yelow thread for contrast. Here is a picture of me before I went out last night.

I'm not smiling, but I am happy. Didn't think to get a pleat shot. No comments while I was out, but I did get a good amount of awkward looks. The only jokes came from my buddies, and I know their hearts and can take that.

Good show. I like the color coordinated thread too. Looks good from long association with jeans.

Wow, very nice, and you have a chin now. You should definitely get that pleat shot though. Note that I just waited to see that picture on dial-up... now that is love for ya!

That's right! I did notice that the beard has disappeared since the photo of the tartan kilt had been taken. Is that where the colored thread came from?

Is it me or does that apron hang right?

Um, it's you? I dunno' to be honest. My mom has a knack for taking pictures off-kilter, and also, I have a knack for standing off-kilter.

Could have been a sewer's mistake, too!

If you turn your head to the angle the picture was taken at it looks straight, but I have a knack of being off-kilter

Nice job! Did you sew down the pleats? I kind of looks like you did. As you wash that kilt the material will soften up and hang even better.

    Well done!
