Question about a USAK tartan

Quick question about The USAK Murray tartan. Is it really as light colored as it appears in the pics on the website? It looks a bit like Murray of Atholl Ancient rather than a modern tartan. Don't get me wrong, I love the tones on the website and fully intend to order a semi-trad as soon as my budget allows.

The best thing to do is contact Rocky and Kelly and ask for a swatch of the fabric. It is a service they provide at a nominal cost.

As said before, send a self addressed stamped envelope to Rocky for a swatch.

When I was looking at the Douglas Modern Tartan, it looked lighter in the photo...but once I requested a swatch and recieved it, it was actually very nice and dark. The flash on the camera "lightens" it up.

I WILL say though, that it IS the "Murray of Atholl Ancient". It's NOT the modern tartan (don't think we say it is MODERN on the site anywhere, but I could have mistakenly done that).
