    Yes you can.My advice though, is don't wear them in Scotland unless you want to look like a fish out of water.I know people do wear them,Sir Jackie Stewart for one,but I think that is a "team thing".

    I have seen tartan on the band, in place of the dicing.

    I've seen several a Glengerry and Balmoral that had replaced the behind the clan badge ribbon with tartan - That would work. The color of the bonnet would contrast to the clan colors or to fashion. I have black, green and blue that I regularly wear.
