Is she wearing Gordon? I feel like it doesn't have a red stripe. Any thoughts?
I do not believe it's Gordon. However, there is a horizontal red stripe, but I can't see if there is a vertical red stripe..

Here's one more for two reasons:
    1) I respect the hell out of women in the service.
    2) Attractive fusiliers are hard to come by.

Fiche, this is a popular thread !!! Going back to a post many pages ago - the point being ... he likes schoolgirls

BTW are there ladies going around wearing modern variations of the arisaid, other than re-enactors ?

    Gentlemen,

Can we please discuss tartan in ladies' dress without resorting to schoolgirl references. This is not that kind of forum!

I don't think I ever posted these pictures of Lady Fiona MacGregor in this thread. These are from the Stone Mountain Highland Games in 2008, when her husband, Capt. Sir Malcolm MacGregor of MacGregor, was the honored guest.

    Good show, Matt.

And yes, Lady MacGregor did (and I'm certain still does) look smashing! I think the hats and gloves really set off the overall effect. Old-school, dignified, but not shy with the tartan. What that there was more of that ethic going around...
