Central NY Scottish Games Aug 9 2008

The Central New York Scottish Games will take place August 9, 2008 at Long Branch Park in Liverpool New York (near Syracuse).

I have plans to fly from LAX back with my family to visit Syracuse that week and we will plan to attend the Games. If there are any X markers around the area that plan to attend, I hope that we can find a place to meet to say hello.

It should be easy to spot, I'll be the Kilted Chap yelling loudly at my wild and crazy boys.

I have informed she-who-must-be-obeyed that I am going with, or without, her. Since her sister lives in Liverpool, I'm guessing she will tag along.

At the main Gate entrance we can meet up at 11:oo AM.

That could work. I think the opening ceremony begins at noon. We live 2.5 hours away, so getting my family up and out of the house will be my biggest challenge. We're not morning people.

My wife's office picnic is on the smae day this year. She's a senior manager and thus obligated to attend. Looks like I'm going to have to sit this event out. Have one on me. The next event I'll be attending are the Scottish Games in Altamont at the end of the month.
