I just have a quick question...I know how to link to and display photos from third party sites. Is there a way to display photos stored on this site? From photos stored in my album, IOW? I can't seem to get the photo to display although the code looks correct.

If you want to post an image to the forum, the image's complete URL must be inserted in the IMG tags. Right-click an image, select Properties, then copy the Image Location.

You will find that not all online album sites will allow hotlinking of images. We recommend PhotoBucket to everyone, as they do allow hotlinking and will even provide you the code to simply copy and paste into the forum.

Thanks for your reply. I don't know why I couldn't get it to work the past couple of times. As I said I understand how to post a photo from Photobucket, my own server, etc.. I just couldn't seem to get it to work when posting a photo from my own Xmarks album.

I was copying the address from the browser address window and plugging that into the image code.

Today I saw that the photo in my album had the BB code already parsed, so I copied that and just plugged it into the message and lo and behold it worked.

Doh!!
