I really don't know BUT I have some kilt pins that were sold as a woman's brooch and they look mighty fine on my kilts. I don't think the average citizen would know or care.

great advice men, i think i will bid on it, like you say, the average lackey here in NZ would have no idea anyway, worse come to worse, i could always replace the stone with something else.

Not sure myself, I have seen them worn over here but as the guys here said, if you like it wear it.
