    My first (sort of) Mini-kilt

First mini-kilt that came out good anyway.

My sons girlfriend wanted a mini-kilt.
I made one last month for her out of some denim I had laying around.
It turned out it was stretch denim and turned out terrible.
I think we are going to burn it as a sacrifice to the Kilt Gods.

Anyway, this is the sweet girl that wrote the article in the local paper about me.
If you missed it, it is in this thread:
    http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/f...x.html?t=38062

Anyway, I made her a camo mini-kilt today and it turned out great.
She is at a meeting right now, but when she gets home I will post some pictures of her wearing it.

and a close up of the material.
Notice the butterflies in the print.

That looks great and the fabric is so appropriate for a young lady!

[I saw some fabric like that and was already at the cutting table when the clerk pointed out that the design was butterflies. I hadn't realized that--it just looked abstract to me. I'm glad that she hadn't put scissors to fabric yet!]

The obscure we see eventually. The completely obvious, it seems, takes longer.

    Talking Nigh-tbird

Nice work, nice pics and nice young lady.

But how comes you always shoot pictures in the dark (night)?

Very fetching! Nice job, and the butterfly camo material is a great idea!

Wow, you make terrific kilts. (Love the snow camo one too!)

    Best regards,
