We are anxiously awaiting the photos you will surely post when your new kilt arrives. Lady Chrystel surely does craft some very handsome kilts.

Hamish, I'm curious... your Kilt Kolection must be close to 100 kilts, now... do you have any sort of archival notes on them? Who made them, when, what materials were used, what they cost, anything of historical interest? For that matter, have you made arrangements for what's to happen to them in the sad eventuality that you're no longer available to wear them and care for them?

Basically it's a 6 yarder kilt (PV , 11oz ).
7 yards for tweed or 16oz.
Please note that most of the time, fabric is sold "double width" ; so you would need 3 yards for a 6 yards kilt etc.
Announcement : It isn't too late to order your Double Box Pleated kilt for Christmas !
Best,

Yes, I really really want one too, currently saving up. Looking in my piggy bank, If I keep saving up at this rate I wll be able to afford it by..... 2050
I was hoping to get one in camo material, which one I haven't decided yet, although Multicam, Flecktarn and Realtree are my top 3 right now :-)

Look forward to seeing the finished result Hamish!
What did you choose from her PV stock? Was it a tartan or something plain?
