Here's an interesting one...

I avoid all the "play dress-up" photos I come across, sticking with gents who are obviously accustomed to wearing Highland Dress.

This one's a bit on the edge to me. But all in all I think this fellow actually owns and wears what he's seen in here.

Note the unusual capbadge, evidently two clan badges merged.

And it's another example of the dark civilian spats.



Now with these gents there's no question that they own and regularly wear what's seen, some Kilberry pipers. I just wish that the image was clearer.

It's an interesting view of what ordinary pipers wore back in the day.



And here's a faded gent.

I can't help but note that one sees very often, in vintage photos, wing collar shirts, long neckties, tweed, and long hair sporrans being worn together.
