    X Kilt - Take 3

Thanks again to Alan (for his instructions), and ahhhhh yeah the wife...

The best thing about these cheap home built kilts, is that i won't feel bad when i go to the super 14 ruggers next year wearing it (Highlanders supporter), spill speights on it, get bottled (seriously i took one in the eye a couple of years ago, from, I swear she was 8 years old, her father sat down fairly quickly and reprimanded her...lucky for him) random pies and hot chips thrown at me in the terraces...

completed a Black Watch X kilt (when i say me, i mean, that i did the marking out, cutting and the ironing, the better half did all the manual labour of machining...) , cost me 40 NZD for the material (had velcro left from previous x kilts), and have enough to make one for a mate who is shorter, sorry about the pics, i found my web cam can actually show the tartan, where as the digi camera shows it all black.

still needs an iron and a de chalking, but thats by the by...

    highlanders footy team mentioned above.

(home town is below where his left foot is...)

Looks great! Are the Highlanders what I used to know as Otago Province?

In a democracy it's your vote that counts; in feudalism, it's your Count that votes.

They were the Otago highlanders, but seeing that most of the team is from southland and north otago, they dropped the otago name.

there still is a Otago team (national provincial champions)(Like southland etc)

Like Auckland provincial, their super 14 team is the Blues, and includes northland etc...
