Holidays, why do my kilts always shrink?

I hate the holidays.. all of my kilts always shrink during this time of year. I think it has something to do with the change in weather

On a happier note, I bought the new T-Mobile G1 and this phone is awesome to say the least. Now I can do typo's at three times the speed

I hear ya I usually do gain a bit of weight around the holidays, but this is the most I've gained over the holidays for a while. Ugh! Ah well, thankfully it's already starting to come back down, but at the same time, I got a cold over New Years which has kept me (and my hubby) from really kicking up the workouts.

Very frustrating! Especially since I was still trying to lose weight before I gained holiday weight. D'oh!

Strange -- I'm having the opposite problem. My kilts are growing. I thought it might have something to do with losing 20 pounds while suffering from malaria, and then watching my diet and exercising because I was glad to have the weight off (the one good side effect of malaria).

But now I'm wondering if there isn't some universal constant waist size of kilts, and as some experience shrinkage, others simply must grow.

It's not just the kilts, everything shrinks at this time of the year.

Between the more abundant and richer holiday food, and the fact I didn't have any dance classes over the holidays, I found my weight creeping back up too.

Oh well, back to the program.

It all depends on if you are a lark or an owl type - at this time of year the days have shrunk down to a minimun, but the nights have expanded.

As the year goes on hope fully things will even out......
