I played Amazing Grace on the smallpipes for Sister Joan before the Mass yesterday morning (she was always proud of my playing, even though it isn't the best). She admired the Black Watch fly plaid that I wore as a winter scarf, so I covered her casket with it at the cemetery, and sent her off with it. A couple of Scottish gifts for our dear and beloved "German Nun".
