WARNING! REGIMENTAL PSA (Public Service Announcement).

WARNING! Graphic PSA (Public Service Announcement).

Do NOT go REGIMENTAL if you recently had a VASECTOMY!! I got out of my XTerra SUV went into the liquor store perusing the Scotch section and felt like I was excessively sweating, looked L&R and swept under the kilt with my hand only to discover I was bleeding , lucky for me I was wearing my Blackwatch and had a few beers already. I calmly asked the young lady for a paper towel and she directed me to the employee bathroom where I proceeded to clean myself up. Apparently when I exited my vehicle the tug and weird sensation I felt was the stitches being yanked from you know where!!!! Now I am going to have to explain to my civilian urologist why I only have one set of stitches.

Go put your feet UP! At least that's what I was told by the doctor.

The bleeding stopped almost immediately; it’s the warrior in me or the beer. I will go kilted to the Dr. tomorrow.

It's rare that reading something over the internet hurts so much.

Thanks for the warning. This may prove useful years from now when it's my turn.

Well that must have smarted some. Glad you got the situation in hand in a timely manner.

That horrified me in a way I have never been horrified before. I almost considered one of those, but my wife suddenly decided on an IUD with 3 days worth of insurance to go.

On a side note, when I took my son to the doc last week, the doc asked why i didn't wear my kilt again.

More TMI -- years ago, I lived with one of my sisters and her husband while I was going to college. Her hubby normally wore boxers, but when he went under the knife the Dr. instructed him to wear briefs for some time afterward. Along the same lines as your PSA.

Oh, and thanks for driving an Xterra!
