Very handsome. What sort of closure does the patch of leather cover up?

The Buzz Kidder Sporrans are a great value for the money, I have two, the Country and the Rob Roy. They are nice sized sporrans and are made of really nice supple leather.

Thanks!
Thanks for the suggestions. I'm going with the McRostie of Glasgow as I wanted to avoid anything decorative. Thanks for all suggestions! A belt is next

I have one of these in brown and one in black.
they're very inexpensive--I think I bought several as Canadian surplus a few years back.
Not nearly as nice as Robin's, but they work well for day wear. If you want something pretty inexpensive, I think I have an extra I can part with cheap.

The BK's are very nice, carried by STM, USAK, Stillwater, and others. I have a Rob Roy, which I think could have the tassels removed. That one and the Inverness have the most capacity of the BK's, so may be the most practical for day to day use.
Consider also the SWK nylon cargo sporran ("Nightstalker"), which has 2 compartments, tassels which can be removed, and is eminently practical. It has a less traditional look, to those accustomed to highland wear; the general public won't know the difference.
