    Rob Roy sporran

    For those that have looked at the sporran plans in Charles Thompson's book
    "so your'e going to wear the kilt" and wondered what it would look like finished.

    here is one I just put together using that pattern

    the sporran is made of dark brown deerskin I had on hand,
    I made the button out of an antler crown


    I lined the flap with elk hide to give it some contrast



    There is plenty of room for all my plunder



    The brown color should go well with that Isle Of Skye I plan on getting

    Looks like you hit the pattern spot on, Joe. Did you do the round braiding yourself too? If so, what size and type of lace?
