    Tartan Day in Greensboro, NC

This is more or less a repost from the North Carolina forum:

Trying to get a small group of kilties together on Tartan Celebration Day Monday, April 6th to have a few beers somewhere here in town (greensboro).

There's a couple pubs off the top of my head... There's Natty Green's downtown on Elm that's not bad... and they brew their own. Then I've heard of folks going to Cooper's Ale House, though I can't recall if I've ever been there. Worse case, there's always my local pub here in Adam's Farm area called McPherson's.
If you can make it out, post here or in the NC forums, or, PM myself or Chris (Mac Daibhidh).

An update from the NC kilt night forum:

Hey gang, I wanted to get a group up for a kilt night here in the Greensboro/High Point area.

Kilt_Em_All and I have been bouncing around a few ideas and because Monday (April 6th) is now National Tartan Day, we figured it would be a good time to go out.

I believe this time around, we will be going to The Claddagh in High Point just off Hwy 68. I’ve phoned them up and they seem kind of excited to have some kilties hang out and have some beers, dinner, etc…

7:00 seems to be the going time right now. They are open until 10:00 so that gives folks like me an excuse for coming home at a decent hour (which will make the missus happy!)

I’ve also just gotten a PM from Scully saying that he will attend. So now that makes three of us. Anyone else is more than welcome to join us.
    PM me with any questions.

Check out the links for The Claddagh’s website and also a google map directions.

I’m looking forward to a fun time.

I used to live in Greensboro and work in High Point - not trying to be negative or rain on your parade, but don't expect too much from The Claddaugh...just an okay place. Might do better at McCoul's Public House down on the corner of McGee and Elm Street, basically across the street from Natty Greene's.
