    Thumbs up Beer Drinkers Rejoice!

The legislature amended the law to allow the sale of beer with alcohol content up to 12% by volume. Now we won't have to drive out of state to get good beer anymore!

Grand day indeed though I have yet to see anything decent in stores, unless the new law has not taken effect yet.

I see good beer in your future and a small bump up in your economy.

It used to be 6%.....It's quite the step forward.

Yuengling finally decided to start selling here also.....been selling like gangbusters.

I haven't seen any craft stuff either, but, I haven't really been looking. It will take time for the distributors to hammer out the agreements with the brewers, I'm sure.

Incidentally, a couple of piping friends helped me brew some beer last weekend, an amber ale the kit makers called Phat Tyre, an homage I believe to Fat Tire.
Should be ready for July 4 festivities
Couldn't have been better, brewing beer, playing pipes and drinking some beer they had made earlier.
    Good day, indeed.

A day well spent indeed int: What % alcohol do you expect your brew to finish at? My last batch was a nice Honey Brown ale with 7%, very nice with a full pound of honey to it. Made with pipes in the background (on CD though) and kilted throughout! Some things were just meant to go together.
