He's right, those are long sleeves....though the measurements don't make them seem so. Must be the sleeve only, not to center back.

Sadly, don't have a local tailor to alter/fix the sleeve mess.

Thanks for the heads up though.

Wow, thanks puffer. And they even have it in a 52 Long. People rarely have a 52L when they have a small stock of things. Cool.

I've been eyeing those for some time, too. At the price, you can't beat it. If the collar wasn't tight, i.e., if it was open, I'd already own one. Change out the buttons to something more non-military, and you could have a good serviceable jacket for summer wear.

    I don't get it.

I don't get it. I mean, it looks neat, but unless you're playing a role on stage or on film, or into re-enacting a world war, (try pulling that off,) where would you wear this? It's obvioulsy military, almost no matter what you do to it. If you are in the military, wouldn't they issue you one? A bit too costume like for me. I like looking at the WPG website, and may buy some of their kilt hose, but I can't help but wonder how they stay in business.
    Respectfully,
    David

Actually, there are 1,000s that are into WWI WWII et al, re-enacting ( there is a group in my area, of over 100, that have vehicles, including 2 tanks & 3 armored cars. Here is one that functions in your area - http://www.hardscrabblefarm.com/ww2/), plus MANY who use some of this "gear", with their kilts. ( Hose, Sam Brown belts, Ike jackets, TOSs Sweaters, shirts, ties, Kilt apron, stable belts & 3 KILTS, are just a few I own.)

I can understand that you do not like the look, but many do.

    With Respect,Puffer
