Thumbs up Let's Buy the Pink Boxer Soldier a Kilt

    http://www.seattlepi.com/national/11...nk_boxers.html

If you haven't heard about Specialist Boyd from Fort Worth who fought the Taliban in his pink boxers, then you have been living under a rock. See link above.

Since he is of Scottish descent, I think he deserves a kilt to celebrate his warrior spirit. Will anybody chip in for a USA Kilt? I'm in for the first $20. If X-markers want to do this, I will work with the Scottish American Military Society post 1298 of Dallas/Fort Worth to locate his family, get his size information and tartan preference, and arrange a presentation.

Although this is not a kilt in the media now, it will be if the rabble give him a kilt.

    Who is in?

    Cheers, ColMac

    OK Guys,

We've got enough for a kilt. A Hunting Stewart would be good because it has a Boyd sept, it has just enough color to appeal to his tastes, and as a hunting tartan iit is subdued enough fo hunt the Taliban.

Any further pledges can go towards a sporran.

I'll see if Rocky will take our money directly.

I will also try to contact Specialist Boyd's mom this afternoon.

    You guys are awesome!

OK, I've located Specialist Zachary Boyd's mom & dad in Fort Worth. They seem to be out at this time. Does anyone else want to pledge toward a sporran?

    Cheers, ColMac
