    Repair of torn kilt

I was brought a kilt today that has a tear in it. It is located near the inverse pleat and I believe must have come from stretching it too much. It is near to where the canvas for the apron and the canvas for the back of the kilt are located. Has anyone experience with such repairs? On the other side, located near the upper apron there is a pleat that has come undone almost up to the waist band. The kilt has been owned by this gentleman for 25 years and is of superior quality. Thanks for whatever help or advice you can give me.

Can you plop the kilt on a scanner (or take a pic of it) so that we can see the extent and location of the tear?

Thanks Phil. I'm sure you just can't wait to drink all that good stuff on Monday morning. I'll remember you at breakfast, lunch and dinner.
    Cheers, Greg
