What to wear to a wedding?
Hi guys. My cousins weddings coming up and I've got quite a few things that I could wear on the upper half. The thing is - I realise everyones got a difference of opinion of what's suitable for a daytime wedding with a kilt.
Some say the Argyll is the way to go - Prince Charlie is too formal; where as some people may suggest the Argyll is too casual.
Basically I'm wondering what you guys generally wear to daytime weddings - and what your thoughts are on whats relevant to the event.
I've basically got to decide to go with:
Dark green Prince Charlie, 5 button waistcoat, silk cravat.
Black Argyll, 5 button waistcoat, silk tie.
Black Argyll, 5 button waistcoat, silk cravat.
Dark green Prince Charlie, 3 button waistcoat, black bow tie. (personally I don't like this option too much)
I've also got a navy Prince Charlie but the green one matches my kilt better.
What do you wear?
and
What should I wear?
It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom -- for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.
