    P*nts are boring

I recently started going to college and the first week or so I decided to wear p*nts until I get a feel for things and the lay of the land. During my week and a half of foregoing the kilt, I realized something. P*NTS ARE BORING! I felt like yet another tiny fish in a sea of blue jeans. I found myself changing into a kilt as soon as I got home, and when I did I felt so much more comfortable!

Today I wore a kilt to school and I felt so much more ME than before. I can't believe I used to dress so boringly. I was thinking that I feel fancier in a kilt, but really I just feel like myself.

I'm sorry for neglecting you, Kilt. Never again.

    Fantastic.
What were the reactions at school when you went kilted?
    Did you get any comments?

I was kilted full-time my last couple of years at Northern Arizona University, and had a couple of amusing things happen... but really, after a very short time, people just get used to you being "the kilted guy," and you go back to being almost invisible.

Good point. I have to admit, when I first started wearing a kilt, it was all about the comfort. It was only after I had been wearing it for awhile, that I began to think about the kilt being the ideal article of clothing for the individualist. Whether a person wore three piece suits or blue jeans, a kilt could be dressed up or down to fit the situation.

You are you - kilted or not. Wear what you need to/ want to/ prefer to - whenever you want. Dress appropriate that's all that matters.

    Indeed, sir!
I only need to be myself, who else could I be?
