harris tweed age?

I bought an overcoat made of Harris tweed, and am wondering how old it might be. On the label are the following numbers: 925503. I assume this is either a weaver's ID number or a code identifying the year the fabric was woven, or maybe both.
Who can help me on this quest?

The Harris Tweed Authority may be able to help. I found a couple of links that indicated that they can tell you what you want to know, although one person indicated that he had never received a final response.
