    Hamish,

Once you are of a mind to consider requests, I respectfully ask permission to purchase a length of this wonderful tartan and make a kilt to wear in your honour.

I look forward to your recovery and to seeing you once again in the near future.

    Best wishes,

A distinguished tartan for a Distinguished Gentleman. What a wonderful honor for his centennial (100th) kilt. Looking forward to the video of him wearing and showing off the pleats in his garden.

Thought I'd post a pic for Hamish to see his cloth. I took this before sending it to Barb.

I hope you like it, Ham!

Indeed. Awesome. Can't wait to see the finished product.

The tartan arrived today at our post office, but I was playing a parade this morning and found the post office slip in my mailbox when I got back. I'm going to pick it up first thing on Monday morning and lay out Hamish's kilt!

Robert Pel (R Kilts) is providing some of the fabulous celtic knot-embossed straps that I used on Rex's kilt.

I'll be taking Hamish's tartan to Iceland, and I'll have Dave take pics of it in various places when I work on it. So, keep your eyes peeled in Show Us Your Pics!

I am so looking forward to making this kilt for you, Hamish!!

    Best,

    Thumbs up Wearing 100 kilts

I've been watching and reading about Hamish and his 100 kilts. Sort of puts the old addage to rest that one should wear the kilt most associated with his family. I can't imagine owning 100 or even 10 kilts but if Hamish can wear any kilt he wants so can I!
