We went on Sunday, not as many of reenactors as last year but enough to keep the kids interested.

My middle laddie was very interested in the homing pigeons and got to ring and release one.

He got a nice letter from the Scottish homing Union this week saying his pigeon had come 4th with a book about the history of pigeons albeit more for adults he can look at pics etc. If the weathers nice its a good place to go. They are slowly refurbishing a Bollingbrooke which is really beginning to take shape and have some good interative stuff for the kids
