    Boots

Alright chaps, what hiking/work/military boots are YOUR favorite for wearing with the kilt?

I only ask because I need some ideas

When I'm working a party or a club and wearing a kilt in a more modern manner, I like my brown Oakley combat boots. Light, supportive and comfy.

Canadian Army parade boots. The new ones have good, thick, Vibram soles compared to the old ones with the flat soles. I got mine at:

    Boots for hiking:

Redwings. These have done me very well for two years and look like they will continue for an unlimited time.

Depends on the kilt, the legs, and the guy the legs are attached to.

I have a pair of black, ankle-high hiking boots from Skecher that I like to wear...

(That is me on the right in the red)

and also in that saffron yellow suede work boot of similar cut...

    ...for a 'tank'

    and contemporary

And then I rather like these tall ones on my ex BF...

Though I doubt those would look good on me without the proper accessories... but that is another discussion altogether.

    Regards,
    Rex.

    There's boots, and there's BOOTS.

Absolute all-time favorites, the Corcoran BROWN cap-toe jump boot:

Built pretty much the same way since c1942 (mine made in Martinsburg, PA).
    Cushioning? What?
    Lugs? BAH!
    Zipper? Huh?
Leather, rubber, nails, thread. All killer, no filler.

For daily wear, same thing, only black, lugged, & zippered:

Got both in 2002. Black ones resoled once, Brown going strong.
    Find power in peace,
