    the secret is choosing the rest of the outfit wisely.
    I was chatting with some pipers at the Tatamagouche Tattoo last weekend and we were complaining and comparing how hot we were. They were hot because of their 16-18oz kilts (I have a nice 11oz, teehee), I was hot because of my wool tartan socks (they had thick cotton, boo). It all worked out even, lol.

    Coincidentally, I'll be in Cincinnati in less than 2wks. Any highland related activities going on mid-August?

    Unfortunately you will have missed the Dayton Celtic Fest by 2 weeks. That one is going on this weekend. The Dublin Celtic Fest is is August 6 - 8 in Columbus, OH. Post in a new thread about coming to Cincinnati. I am sure there will be interest in a "kilt night" sometime during your visit.
