Charlie, you may wish to check out Hamish's album.
Speaking for myself only. I've owned about 65 kilts over the past six years. Yeah - have the addiction bad. Have sold over 30 of those kilts to other guys my size after I outgrew them. Today I have 30 some kilts with one hand sewn on order and another hand sewn in the wings.
I like having them in order to choose what kilt I'm going to wear today - for the weather, for my mood, of the occasion.
If you look over the kilts in Ham's Kilt Kollection you'll see he has collected a wide variety of kilts including kilts from many niche's. Its a beautiful thing. I'm guessing Ham would be the first to admit he doesn't/can't wear them all anymore. But he for sure has worn them all.
I see you're relatively new to the board, welcome.
Do yourself a favor and spend some time on the search feature or going to Ham's posts off his profile and "meet" this true gentleman.

"I'll have a kilt please, a nice hand sewn tartan, 16 ounce Strome. Oh, and a sporran on the side, with a strap please."

Hamish,
It appears that the new acquisition has worked its magic on you. I'm glad to see you're up and around, and that you had a nice, sunny day to model it.
