    Help identifying a tartan

Would anybody be able to offer assistance in identifying the tartan pattern which has been used in the manufacture of a kilt that I own. I have very little details of it’s date of manufacture but I attach a photo which I’ve taken:

The camera flash has brightened the colours quite significantly, under normal lighting conditions it’s almost impossible to distinguish the green and blue parts, the whole kilt at first glance appears to be red and black.

The manufacturers label is still sewn onto the lining:

The kilt seems to be of a heavy weight and is quite large, it comfortably fits me and I have a 42" – 44” waist.

    Replying to my own question!

Thanks to the excellent usakilts.com site I believe I've found the answer but please correct me if I'm wrong! I think it's MacDonald Modern:

Sort of the "generic" Macdonald tartan. You be a cousin?
