Will they be serving Founder's Dirty Bastard Scotch Ale? I just discovered it this past week, and I must say I am very impressed.

I dont know if that particular brew will be available, but I have been thinking about trying it. Like the name Tried New Holland Brewing's "The Poet Oatmeal Stout" had to almost chew through the foam to get to the beer, couldn't see any light through it either, and it is was fantastic.

    Another favorite.....

Dragon Mead's "Under the Kilt, Wee Heavy"

Being of Irish roots and not Scottish, would it be appropriate to attend?

Given Burns's message that "man tae man, the world o'er, shall brithers be for a' that", I think it's very appropriate...all are welcome at our Burns Supper, whether Scot or not!

How formal is the dress. Unfortunately I have not been able to acquire a jacket for the right price. I could probably pick up a formal sporran before then though. Would a shirt, tie and vest be too casual?

Hey Mr Shoe, Shirt, tie and vest would be fine. Only about half the men wore kilts last year. We just recieced our tickets in the mail, so if you go, let us know, it be nice to meet you.
