Huge free Scotweb give-away
Happy new year to you all!
Okay, here's the deal... in the year of two thousand and eleven anno domini, Scotweb will be giving away, free, gratis, and for not a penny piece in return...
- a full Classic Prince Charlie Outfit (made to measure, in your own tartan)
- a Balmoral Traditional Eight Yard kilt (ditto) - this month
- a Harris Tweed Jacket
- a Ladies Kilted Skirt, or indeed any skirt, in any tartan
- a pair of tartan trews or trousers, made to order
... oh, and a bunch more great stuff too!
Got your interest? Hope so.
You only have to enter once, and we'll include you in every draw from then on.
And take note, at this moment the number of entrants is exactly zero, since XMTS is the first place I'm mentioning it. And it's only a few weeks to the draw. So your chances of winning this month's prize (the Balmoral 8 yarder) are remarkably high!
Why are we doing this? (Apart from the fact that we're lovely people, of course.) Well, we're just asking one small thing in return. We'd like you to give us a wee mention with a link on your blog or facebook page or something. Just a few words would do. But that's all, and you don't even have to be nice about us if you don't want to. (Though doing so could get you a 5000 Scotweb Point bonus prize if you win...)
So here's the link you need:

Hope you've a really happy new year. :-)
Nick

And uh *puts moderator hat on* perhaps this should go in the Advertiser's section in Scotsweb's dedicated place. I will have to consult my fellow moderators.

I can only figure out how to "like" your facebook page...which I've done. Is that enough?

I already had a direct link on my Facebook page, and had already friended you - so entering was a piece of cake.
Thanks, Nick!

Oh dear - does anyone else here understand Facebook better than me? Basically our need is to be able to see your facebook profile for checking... I think our company page is just that, so can't be friended. Our web editor who set it up is http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000129197540 so is that who we should be asking people to befriend for checking purposes? Anyone know a better way. Sorry, this is embarrassing. But a good reason for launching in a community like this first!
