A slight tangent, but my favorite quote attributed to Churchill:

Woman [to Churchill]: Sir, if you were my husband, I would put poison in your drink.
Churchill: Madam, if you were my wife, I'd drink it.

Or the conversation with a young actress:

Actress: Sir, we should have children together. With your brains and my looks, how wonderful they would be!

Churchill: But Madam, think if it were the reverse!

When beer and alcohol get mentioned, it's hard not to think of someone in particular and that someone for this thread seems to be Winston Churchill.

Lady Astor (who had a re4lationship of mutual distaste with Mr. Churchill) introduced him once with the quip "if all the spirits he's consumed were poured into this room, they wouod come within six inches of the ceiling."

Churchill walked to the podium, scanned up and down the walls and muttered into the microphone "So much to do, so little time".
