2011 Celtic Festival by the Celtic Society Of Southron Maryland

Yesterday turned out to be a fabulous day in Southron Maryland for the 33rd annual Celtic Festival by the CSSM There were tons of people, vendors, pipe bands, rugby teams, Highland game athletes & many Clan's well represented there! I don't have time to post all the pics right now but will in a few days. I just thought I'd give you a little taste of what's in store I was able to meet up w/Madadh & TKDog! It was a pleasure meeting you guys in person & I look forward to more time w/the fellow X Markers in the future!

Madadh & his famous Irish Wolfhounds were quite a show, everytime I turned my head he(THEY) had a crowd around them

My first time having haggis was at lunch washed down with a Heavy

Yup. Absolutely gorgeous day. Clear as a bell, and neither too not nor too cool.

Yes, myself and the lads had a grand day. I don't know how many showed up on the day, but the lads must have had hands laid on them by over half of them. I think I counted 5 other X-Markers there. Next year we will have to have a meet up and share a pint.

It was great seeing you guys at the festival. Sorry, the only pictures I took were of the massed pipes and drums. A great day was had by all. I left early to attend the International Tattoo in Norfolk (more to come).

Well Greenfordranger, you captured me (Sealark) and my son. I'm on the left petting one of Madadh's hounds and my youngest son is sporting his new kilt in the yellow shirt on the right(not an x-man yet). Thanks for proving that I was there. I agree it was a fantastic day, should have brought sunscreen. Will definately show up with more people next year, fantastic event.
