    Make your own kilt

    Hi, guys.

I have an tenth grade gent who would like to make a kilt. I know that I can find a "how-to" here somewhere. Can you direct me.

    Thanks and God bless!

If he's interested in making a trad kilt, he could order The Art of Kiltmaking. Web link in my signature below.

It's worth having a look at Chris Eyres pages, he has a very good tutorial on traditional kilt making, one that I found years ago. It's fairly basic and expects you to know a bit of basic sewing, but it is a great first step in making a traditional kilt.
Chris Eyre Piping pages and go to the kilt making section.
Oh yes and the other thing... it's free as well!
