Portarlington National Celtic Festival, Victoria, Australia

Just a quick update on the Quaich's journey.

At the moment it is back in Melbourne after a short flight from Tasmania.

The Quaich made a special appearance on a Scottish Community Radio program in Melbourne last Monday, 30th May.

The Quaich added a special to flavour to that evening's broadcast.

Each of the presenters took turns to describe the quaich aswell as discuss its background and its participation in the forthcoming Portarlington National Celtic Festival (http://www.nationalcelticfestival.com)

Its first appearance will be at the opening concert this Friday evening, 10th june.

Here are a couple of pictures of the Quaich in the radio studio.

    Hi Colin,

How did you get the photos to load not that I have tried it yet, I just want to avoid mistakes. Good on what you achieved with it so far. Any clues on moving it on would be appreciated, I was a bit caught on the hop yesterday I knew a little bit about its travels but not as much as now but I do have quite a few ideas already for its use. See you on Sunday for the handover at the MSFC!

    Cheers

    Bill
