    Stillwater Black Leather Cargo Sporran

Does anyone know if the above is available in the UK and if not, what would be the cost of shipping from the US of A to Scotland. I want/need one.

Dunno about to the UK, but it cost me about $12.50 to Canada.... just that it's stuck somewhere because our posties are on strike, so it's been a couple of weeks now.

I only know of Stillwater products being sold by Stillwater, Chris.

Shipping for a length of tartan, and most recently a Jacket and waistcoat was about $27 US. That sporran should be quite a bit less if shipping costs are calculated by weight.

    I hope that helps.

It's possible Jerry has already shipped one across the pond and could answer that question accurately for you.

Oh, and I approve of your choice. Even though mine is brown.

    Hi Chris,

I just bought one in brown leather - one of the best buys I have ever made! It arrived as if it had been couriered to my door and I had no duty or VAT to pay. I asked John (English Bloke) as I knew that he has one of each colour - he had to pay the duty and VAT. I'm just lucky I guess.

There was a slight issue with the payment procedure. The system thinks that you are in continental North America and charges $5 for P&P. This was reimbursed almost immediately and I received an email telling me the P&P was in fact $15 and a new PayPal request was enclosed. I paid the new PayPal request and the whole lightning fast process started.

As soon as I get some more money together, I will be ordering a black one as well. You will not be disappointed.

    Regards

    Chas

    Thanks Chas, that sounds reasonable.

I just ordered a black one. Went through paypal ok and shipping was $29.00. (US Postal Service - Priority Mail) So total cost $76.95. I am happy with that.

    And thanks to everyone.

Might as well order a brown leather one too. You're gonna love it/them. The front pocket is perfect for a wallet. The zippers on the back pouch allow one handed operation without having to stop everything and look down and fiddle with snaps, straps or other closure methods.

I never expected this sporran to become my sporran of choice - but it has - for the convenience of it.
