    Source for "substantial" tattersall shirt?

Being a gentleman of substance, I find most classic tattersalls are for the smaller gentlemen.

I'm looking for tattersails with 19.5-20" neck, 58-60" chest.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Have you tried Orvis.com? They seem to have a wide range to lovely tattersalls.

If we want to be traditional with the shirts then, NO LOGOS,or BUTTON DOWN collars, please.

Orvis' range of big and tall is quite lacking...

    Cheers,
Thanks for this - Brooks Brothers has plenty of shirts in my size, and they just so happen to be running a fairly substantial sale. I just got away with 5 shirts for under $200. And all of them are without button-down collars (they've got pockets tho... I tried my best).

I was just telling my wife that as a kid I remember reading a short story that featured a wealthy man who wore Brooks Brother's clothing. For some reason, that story kept me believing that BB's items were of the highest quality, but out of my fiscal means. Glad to see that has been dispelled somewhat.

Glad you found a good source.

I was going to suggest Cabelas.

In the past, Eddie Bauer had been my source but they have cut back on their "Manly" sizes!

Cabelas is my new go-to store.

Quite right Joshua. Brooks Brothers certainly do produce quality made shirts at reasonable, 'get what you pay for' prices. I do not mind saving a little money here and there, then purchasing the quality, well made shirts that, if well taken care of, will and should last a lifetime. Presently, in accordance with my budget, style, fashion sense, and preferences, I only puchase and wear shirts (both day, evening, and formal) from either House of Bruar or Brooks Brothers. Simply my taste and preference.
