    Perhaps it is the accessories that put it 'over the top'...



    The Tartan Lads had red PC's as well...





    but perhaps it is not just the colour, but who and how it is worn that is 'over the top'...

    I have been steadfastly ignoring the beautiful royal blue PC set in the For Sale forum. It's Bob's size and a great price, but really wouldn't do anything for any of his current tartans (not even the ones in the stash that are not yet kilts). But I won't tell you how many of that thread's "view" counts are from me. . .

    And I can't resist adding that, when worn with the kilt, "over the top" is much preferable to "under the bottom."

    It appears that the past was much more colourful than the current prmary penguin look...
