What about 80's rockers? Or is that just leopard print or tiger stripes?

    Correction:

Africans and 80's rockers are entitled to wear the zebra leopard and tiger stripe plaids.*

*While the Africans can wear pith helmets, the 80's rockers cannot.

I just use a straw hat, and keep my hair in a ponytail.

Re: Trying to Come Full Circle: Khaki Canvas Kilt

My African friends say that the Zebra's stripes serve to confuse the lions. When the zebras run cirlces around the lions, they can't tell whether their dinner is coming or going!

I recall seeing African folk tales about zebras and baboons fighting, sometimes over a watering hole. The baboons end up with bald patches, and the zebras end up with stripes.

Anyway, I've thought about the zebra plaid a little. A brat or cloak of sorts might be best for that, and I could even wear it with the canvas kilt for the bonfire events and such.

Re: Trying to Come Full Circle: Khaki Canvas Kilt

Ok, I'm still working on the canvas kilt, but I sew very slowly. I needed to move the buckle on the right side just a little for the front apron to be a little more snug, not tight. The buckles are attached to leather tabs, which were machine sewn originally, and they have a rectangle of ten-thousand holes for the thread. That's what takes forever. I have to move a belt loop, then it should be done... until I find something else.
