Looking for a tanned highland cow pelt.

Does anyone have a source for already tannedd highland cow hide?

I only need a piece about 1 foot by 1 foot to make myself a sporran.

I've always thought a shaggy Highland Cow sporran would look great. Try here. They may be able to source it for you. Good Luck!

They sell Scottish Cow beef, as well as hides/horns/skulls.

I've seen their wagon at all the Highland Games out in these parts.

Don't forget about the powder horn for your highland pistol off of one of those beautiful cows!

A buddy of mine has several green hairy cow hides packed in rock salt, sealed inside 55 gallon drums in his garage.

...no telling when he'll get around to tanning them, though.

    Have you tried:

I use the UK outlet as often as my wallet will allow.

I actually contaced OZ highland farms yesterday concerning buying small pieces of hide and will let the rabble know what their answer is when I hear from them.

Bison hides are easy to come by in my neck of the Montana highlands, and bison hair would make a damned fine sporran!
Scotland is only 1/5 the size of Montana, but Scotland has over 3,000 castles and Montana has none.
