Untucked shirt
I’m of the generation where growing up I was taught to tuck my t-shirt, button-down shirt and “polo” shirt into my trousers or jeans. And generally I continue to do this today.
Given it’s become somewhat “fashionable” over the last few years to wear untucked button-down shirts with trousers and jeans, I thought I’d give it a go as well. At first, I felt kind of sloppy but after the 60+ over 100 degree days here in Texas this past summer, I found it more comfortable and certainly cooler to not tuck my shirt into pants.
In regards to wearing a kilt, I always tuck my shirt (all types) into my kilt. I can’t imagine wearing one of my kilts with an untucked shirt
My question is, would there be some reason to (or fashion statement) for not tucking in a t-****, button-down **** or “polo” shirt into your kilt? Maybe while hiking in a kilt?
