Matt, is that tie the notorious St Andrew's Society of Columbia, SC?

You betcha! I think you are the first to ID that tie during a public wearing, actually. A couple of years back I was invited to speak to the St. Andrews Society and they presented me with a club tie as a thank you. I wear it frequently with several of my kilts (and with trousers, as well). It's a Ben Silver.

I will attempt to clarify color availability from House of Cheviot today. The issue at hand is that while I have received updated price & availability information on all hose from their Highland catalog for 2012, I have yet to receive 2012 information for their country catalog. The Sandringham hose are one of several "cross over" items I carry from their country catalog.

While the color offerings on items from the Highland catalog are more or less the same as last year, I understand there will be more changes in the country catalog, which is one reason why it is taking longer to update.

But I will ask about this specific item and get back with everyone. I do have in stock already a couple of pair of each color, so if any of these colors are discontinued I will be selling those off at discount. Stay tuned!

Ok, gang, you are seeing it here first. The 2012 color range for the Sandringham hose. Yes, indeed, the colors have changed, though they still remain similar.
